With the inception of a deregulated natural gas market in the mid 80’s, Chautauqua Energy was one of the first companies to supply natural gas to commercial and residential customers in New York State. We are an authorized Pool Operator and Marketer on the National Fuel Distribution system. In addition to supplying natural gas at competitive prices, we also offer our customers energy consulting services, natural gas well drilling and pipeline installations. Chautauqua Energy currently supplies natural gas in Western and Central New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio.

Over ten years after the deregulation of natural gas, the electricity market also opened to competition in New York State. Chautauqua Energy was again at the forefront of this emerging industry and partnered with best in class providers to offer electric supply products to their natural gas customers. This holistic approach to offering both commodities simplified the decision making process for buyers, encouraged suppliers to be creative and compete for our businesses and provided the right products at the right time to meet the needs of our customers.
